A Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) Spokesperson said:
“The thoughts and sympathies of Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) are with the family and friends of a woman who died following a house fire on the Annaghbeg Road, Dungannon.
“NIFRS received a call at 10.22pm on Monday 19 October 2020 to attend a fire at a bungalow on the Annaghbeg Road.
“7 Fire Appliances attended the incident- 3 from Dungannon Fire Station, 1 from Armagh Fire Station, 1 from Pomeroy Fire Station and 2 from Springfield Fire Station.
“The woman was rescued from the property by PSNI prior to Firefighters arriving on scene, and was taken to hospital for treatment, but has since sadly passed away.
“Firefighters used jets and a water tower to extinguish the fire. The incident was under control by 4.29am on Tuesday 20 October, and the cause of the fire is believed to be accidental ignition.”
