About NIFRS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We provide all of Northern Ireland – an area of over 5,500 square miles, with a population of 1.88 million – with fire and rescue services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We respond to fires; road traffic collisions; and specialist rescue incidents including flooding, chemical incidents, collapsed buildings and a wide range of other emergencies.<\/p>\n\t\t\t
