What will I be doing as a Volunteer Cadet Leader?
The role of a Volunteer Cadet Leader is flexible. NIFRS has Cadet Branches throughout Northern Ireland.
As a Volunteer Cadet Leader, you will be:
- acting as a positive role model to young people (aged 14 to 17 years)
- delivering a programme of activities within your community which may include first aid, teambuilding, hose running, fire safety
- attending public events with the Cadets representing NIFRS
This role will suit you if you:
- have a friendly attitude
- have good inter-personal skills
- have the ability to work well within a team and to follow and give instructions
- have a desire to learn new skills and knowledge
- are over 18
