Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service

Open Day at Central Fire Station, Belfast – Saturday 28 October

Central Fire Station is hosting a ‘999’ Emergency Services Open Day on Saturday 28 October from 12.30 – 4pm.

Fire & Rescue Service, Police Service, Ambulance Service, Coastguard Agency and the British Red Cross will all be there, with their different appliances and specialist equipment, to demonstrate what the emergency services do on a daily basis across NI.

An exciting series of demonstrations and displays that convey a flavour of the many incidents that the emergency services respond to will be among the highlights including a PSNI Specialist Dog Team display, a road traffic collision rescue demonstration, a chip pan fire demonstration and a water rescue display.

With something for all the family, everyone is welcome to attend. Feel free to call into the Fire Station, based on Bankmore Street/ Ormeau Avenue Belfast, between 12.30pm – 4pm.
