Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service has welcomed the news that long serving Firefighters will receive additional recognition for 30 & 40 years of service.
The Fire and Rescue Service Long Service Good Conduct Medal is awarded to those who have served in NIFRS for 20 years and today Health Minister Robin Swann has announced that additional clasps will be also awarded to those with 30 and 40 years of service.
Chief Fire & Rescue Officer Peter O’Reilly said:

“Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service is a vital part of the health and social care family and the people who serve in it are conscientious, compassionate and utterly committed to protecting the people of Northern Ireland.
