A Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) Spokesperson said:
“A large fire at commercial premises on Greenbank Industrial Estate in Newry has been dealt with. The initial call was received at 11.47am on Saturday 13 July.
“Our Firefighters worked tirelessly throughout the duration of the incident to ensure that the fire was brought under control and to extinguish the fire.
“At the height of the incident 16 Fire Appliances and over 50 Firefighters and Personnel were involved in the operation.
“We would like to thank the public for their patience whilst we dealt with the incident.
“The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental ignition and the incident was dealt with by 3.58pm on Sunday 14 July 2024.”
