Fire at Tummery Road, Irvinestown

NIFRS received a call to attend a fire at a large shed on the Tummery Road in Irvinestown. 5 appliances attended the incident. One from Irvinestown, one from Dromore, one from Fintona, one from Belleek and one from Enniskillen. The shed was used to store a number of gas cylinders and had collapsed. Firefighters used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and cool the cylinders down to a safe temperature. BOC (the gas provider) have been informed that the cylinders are now safe to be removed. The incident was dealt with by 09.39am. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
