NIFRS responded to a fire at the M2 Business Park, Duncrue Street, Belfast on Thursday 14 November 2019. Fire Crews responded quickly to the incident and their early actions prevented fire spread to three adjoining businesses.
Firefighters worked tirelessly throughout the night on Thursday 14 November 2019, fighting the fire in difficult conditions, and at the height of the incident a total of 13 fire appliances and more than 60 fire personnel were involved at the scene.
The high rack shelving and roof in the premises collapsed, and Firefighters worked to extinguish the fire using Breathing Apparatus and a High Volume Pump.
It was a protracted incident that lasted until 8.20pm on Monday 18 November 2019.
The cause of the fire has been determined as accidental.
