Firefighters were called to a a shed fire which spread to oil tanks and two semi-detached bungalows.

4 Fire Appliances attended the incident – Two from Ballycastle Fire Station and two from Ballymoney Fire Station.

Firefighters wore Breathing Apparatuses and used 5 jets to extinguish the fire. Firefighters rescued one female casualty and one male casualty was out of the building when Firefighters arrived. Both were treated by the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and taken to hospital.

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental ignition and the incident was dealt with by 9.05pm.
