Working in partnership with others to ensure the safety and well-being of our community" NIFRS is committed to working closely with other emergency services across Northern Ireland. To this end a number of our Fire Stations facilities have been made available to the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS). The shared facilities range from NIAS having possession of an entire or part of a building, to NIFRS providing space for NIAS to position a Portacabin. Currently these arrangements operate at Bangor, Carryduff, Comber, Donaghadee, Dromore (Co. Down), Fintona, Northland (Londonderry) and Warrenpoint. | NIAS Station at Northland Fire Station |

We also share our facilities with the Maritime & Coastguard Agency at Bangor and opened the first ever joint NIFRS and Coastguard Station on Rathlin Island in May 2007. | Rathlin Rescue Station Combined Staff |
