Two women, twins, aged 30 years were injured in a collision on the Newry Road outside Belleek in County Armagh on Sunday morning. Firefighters had to use cutting gear to free one of the women who was heavily trapped. Both casualties were taken to Daisy Hill hospital by ambulance. |

Extra resources to the initial attendance were required to deal with a fire in a farm outbuilding at Glenmornan Road outside Artigarvan in County Tyrone. Two main jets, a hosereel jet and a foam jet were used in addition to being assisted by the farmer using two slurry tankers to ferry water to extinguish the blaze. A large quantity of straw and some tyres were involved. |

Firefighters from Strabane and Crescent Link stations responded to a road traffic collision on the Letterkenny Road outside Lifford in County Donegal and had to use hydraulic cutting gear to release four casualties from a three vehicle incident. A 14 year old girl, two women aged 28 and 57 and a 6 year old boy were all cut free from a car and taken to Letterkenny hospital. |

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus led a man and woman to safety from a smoke-logged flat at Merchants Court Sheltered Dwellings in Newry. A pot left on the cooker had caught fire and was extinguished in the sink. Both casualties were give oxygen by NIFRS personnel and then passed to ambulance staff for assessment as they had suffered smoke inhalation. |

A collision involving a van and two cars occurred on the North Road, Carrickfergus on Thursday evening. Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment and manual handling to release one of the casualties, a 56 year old woman. Two others also suffered shock and all were taken to hospital by ambulance. |

Extra resources including an aerial appliance were required to deal with a fire at the Caterpillar factory on the Old Glenarm Road in Larne. Work was being carried out on a high rise area of the building and scaffolding planks had went on fire. The aerial appliance was utilised to extinguish the fire and personnel used working-at-height kit to ensure their safety during the incident. |

FATAL INCIDENT Local crews and Specialist Rescue Teams liaised with members of the Foyle Water Rescue team to search for a missing person in the Derg River near Castlederg. A woman was pulled from the water and CPR was carried out by teams until she was taken to hospital. Sadly it was confirmed later by PSNI that the woman was a fatality. |

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus led a 63 year old woman to safety after a fire broke out in the kitchen of a detached bungalow in Benson Street in Lisburn. She suffered slight smoke inhalation and shock and was taken to Lagan Valley hospital by ambulance. A hosereel jet was used to deal with the fire. |

Firefighters were called to a shed on fire at The Brambles in Coalisland and found an oil tank was also involved in the blaze. A hosereel jet and a foam jet were used to deal with the fire. Crews also treated a man aged in his 40s for smoke inhalation . |
